Does Lower Dose of Alcohol Reduce Mental and Behavioral Disorders Due to Use of Alcohol?

Abstract
This paper estimated the casual effects of reducing concentration of alcohol in Soju on Mental and behavioral disorders due to use of alcohol. In order to identify the casual effects, we estimated dynamic panel model using cross-region panel data. We found that lowering the alcohol content of Soju has a positive impact on the Mental and behavioral disorders due to use of alcohol. Specifically, Mental and behavioral disorders due to use of alcohol is increased by 28% when the alcohol content in Soju is decreased by 1%.
